Mehndi Designs for Hands 2012
Mehndi or henna as it is called in Indian tradition is a paste made out of grinding henna leaves. Women love to apply mehndi because it adds beauty to their hands. Mehndi is mostly applied before any function and is widely used in marriage ceremonies. To get good colour out of the mehndi one does add lemon juice and eucalyptus oil in the mehndi paste. The mention of henna started many centuries ago where Egyptians used to use it before mummification. Mehndi apart from being used in marriages and functions is also used by dancers during their performances. Most traditional Indian dancers apply a mehndi design in which they make large n small circles inside their palm and cover half of their fingers with the mehndi.
